Willow Oakley is the daughter of a well-known American veterinarian known as Dr. Michelle Oakley. The doctor is a TV actress known for her show ‘Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet’ which airs on Nat Geo Wild.

Willow Oakley is 19 years old. She was born on the 15th of July 2004 in Yukon, Canada. According to a somewhat belated Instagram post by her mother, the young Oakley shares her birthday with another member of her family. She shares the day with Sierra Oakley, however, Sierra was born in 1997.
2. About Dr. Michelle Oakley
Dr. Michelle Oakley is an American doctor who specializes in the care of animals. Michelle is an Indiana native but became an Alaskan TV star. She earned an undergraduate degree in Zoology and it was while she studied that she traveled to Yukon and fell in love with the town.
Apart from falling in love with what she saw at Yukon, she also met a firefighter named Shane Oakley whom she fell in love with as well. The couple went on to get married in November of 1992 and birthed three adorable daughters.
After getting married, she continued her schooling and by 2000, she graduated from college with a doctorate degree in Veterinary medicine. She worked for about 9 years in Yukon’s Fish and Wildlife department as a veterinarian and regional biologist.
Eventually, she started her own practice and TV show which has shot her into fame.

Willow Oakley isn’t the only daughter of Michelle and Shane Oakley. In fact, she is the last girl of three. Her eldest sister is named Sierra Oakley while her immediate elder sister is named Maya Oakley.

4. Is She As Passionate About Animal Life As Her Mother?
While we know that the whole Oakley family is passionate about wildlife and their care, we’re not so sure how much. However, the Dr.’s first and second daughters have both indicated interest and shown passion for caring for animals.

She also said that Willow decided to be exempted from that season and it was accepted by the family.
However, her mother revealed that she wasn’t part of the show because she was focused on school and couldn’t travel much.

9. She Went On A ‘Rescue’ Mission With Her Mum During The 2021 Thanksgiving
Dr. Michelle Oakley and her last daughter flew to Costa Rica to a wildlife center called Toucan Rescue Ranch. The Dr. has been there before as a help to the center. However, her return with her youngest daughter is aimed at helping sloths in the area who suffer from attacks from stray dogs, car hits, and other unfortunate incidents.

Given that he was very familiar with the area, Shane Oakley was responsible for teaching his new family how to survive in the wild. He taught his wife and daughters how to survive and navigate through the wilderness.
