Miles Gonzalo Morales is a Brooklyn Visions Academy student who was bitten by a radioactive spider and gained spider-like abilities. Initially not wanting to be a hero, he was forced to take up the mantle of the masked vigilante after the death of Peter Parker.

Miles has two abilities that the original Spider-Man does not have: the ability to camouflage himself, including his clothing, to match his surroundings, making him effectively invisible, and a "venom strike" that can temporarily paralyze almost anyone with just a touch.
