Hi,
Recently there was a similar topic here, unfortunately it was closed because the author stopped writing back.
I decided to open a new one - in order to solve this problem from start to finish.
This error appeared after installing a new WiFi card.
So here goes...Summary: Invalid buffer destination in iwlwifi during startup
Description:
The following iwlwifi error message appears during startup:
kernel: iwlwifi 0000:04:00.0: WRT: Invalid buffer destination
System Information:
- Distribution: Arch Linux
- kernel: 6.10.0-arch1-2
- Firmware Version: linux-firmware-20240703.e94a2a3b-1
- Wireless Hardware: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) AX210/AX1675* 2x2
Additional Information:
This message does not affect wireless functionality but should be reviewed.
This error appears 3 times right after system startup.
I checked the LTE kernel - no change.I will be more than happy to answer any additional questions.

Hi Norman and John,
Thanks guys for your interest in my problem.
I've written back on each point below.
1. Lenovo ThinkPad T470
2. Computer is original, I just changed the WiFi card to a newer one - the one with the problem. Unless you are asking about the OS? It is Arch Linux built on the latest kernel. The last update to 6.10.2 didn't change anything.
3 I changed the kernel to LTS = didn't do anything
4. I changed from Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 - on it there was no such problem

This has been confirmed by our engineers. Kindly check the product specification for the supported wireless modules and Windows OS only for this Lenovo ThinkPad T470. I highly recommend contacting your system manufacturer support team to confirm the hardware incompatibility and/or Linux Distro the error of WRT: Invalid buffer destination might be due to a compatibility issue.
