Description:

POSITION #1 JOB DESCRIPTION

Provides advanced customer service and support to internal staff and external clients in the areas of property & casualty suite of products workers’ compensation ERISA bonds BOP EPLI. Maintains a high level of knowledge concerning the products and services supported by the Paychex Insurance Agency. Assists external users of the technical products by answering questions solving problems involved with their use. Identifies investigates and researches user questions and problems. Refers unresolved issues to technical or professional personnel for follow up as needed. Researches and resolves product and service issues relative to the Property & Casualty suite of products from any internal/external clients. Ability to diffuse client concerns and notify management of critical situations to ensure the best solution is implemented for the client and Paychex. Responds to inbound calls and place outbound calls as required by the business unit relating to Property & Casualty suite of products and/or the Workers’ Compensation Payment Services. Maintains an accurate recording of all internal and external communication. Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of Paychex Insurance Agency portfolio corresponding systems and internal/external processes to ensure client satisfaction. Develops enhancements to existing or new processes and procedures while making the necessary recommendations to management. Maintains and manages positive and professional relations with Paychex clients insurance carriers and internal/external clients to ensure client satisfaction. Utilizes multiple software applications in conjunction with carrier and bureau websites in order to respond to all client inquiries. Internal applications include HRIS (human resource information system) and Online Reporting System. Continues to stay abreast of all changes pertaining to various internal product offerings regulatory changes policy changes and insurance industry developments in support of client satisfaction. Participates in assigned projects or required training. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION #2 JOB DESCRIPTIONNEW BUSINESS DEPT

Responsible for daily processing / data entry / validation of records and maintenance of new and existing insurance accounts. Maintain a high level knowledge of the products and services supported by Paychex Insurance Agency, Inc. Provide customer service and support to both internal and external clients.

•Performs data entry of confidential client information and is responsible for the security of this information as files are loaded into Paychex systems.

•Initiates timely new account setup and process all documentation related to setup and maintenance of new or existing accounts for Workers’ Compensation and other insurance lines.

•Responsible for meeting department quality and productivity standards relative to data input and established timelines.

•Maintains required documents and records to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations.

•Provides necessary documentation to states and federal insurance agencies as well as our insurance partners as required.

•Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the clients’ financial and insurance transactions to ensure client satisfaction.

•Responds to inbound inquiry calls or e-mails and places outbound calls or e-mails to clients, insurance partners, and other Paychex offices as required by the business unit in order to complete new account setup.

•Researches and resolves product and service related issues from clients, and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.

•Maintains accurate recording of all internal and external communications used for the accurate and timely setup, service and maintenance of new or existing insurance accounts.

•Maintains positive and professional relationships with clients, and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.

•Utilizes multiple computer software applications in conjunction with carrier and bureau web-sites to perform their job duties. Internal systems to include HRIS, WebORS, Core Advanced Payroll Application, and other Microsoft Access databases in order to ensure the proper set up of new insurance policies and to respond to all client inquiries.

•Demonstrates knowledge of payroll generated reports and charges as they relate to all insurance products/services administered by Paychex Insurance Agency, Inc.

•Demonstrates knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation Payment Service Agreement and ensures new clients are meeting their obligations.

•Participates in product related projects or training sessions as required.

•Other duties as assigned.
