This place is incredible—some of the best Italian I have ever had and the service is spectacular. I love coming here. The atmosphere is comfortable and classy and the food is delicious.
We made a reservation for Mother's Day... We have been coming here for years. The owner, his son and the staff are amazing. The food is to die for. If you haven't been here then you are missing out. On the top of Branford Hill. Never had a bad meal. Great job yesterday guys and as always, thank you...
Came down to watch the game and have some food. I love the fresh made gnocchi colognes, fantastic! My buddy had the gnocchi Della casa with added calamari, OUTSTANDING!!. Price has a bearing. But there is no room for discussion about the freshness or quality of food. For posting purposes, $20 is very inexpensive for the quality here. Totally recommend this place

Great Italian restaurant! Pizza is the best but they also have great entrées. Very casual and friendly. If you like a quiet place with good Italian food, this place is perfect.
My family has been going to Ilforno since before I was born. They have catered my highschool graduation, my 21st birthday, my fiance's college graduation, and many other life celebrations and weeknight dinners. The food is always fantastic, and they have been able to provide special order gluten free meals when needed. Their gluten free tray of eggplant parmesan and gluten free tray of artichoke hearts were so good most of our guests didn't realize it was gluten free. Ilforno is the perfect place for a fancy sit down celebration, a weeknight dinner to go, or to pick up a pizza!
