Does the phlster enigma work with any holster? ›

The Standard Engima OS is compatible with a wide variety of other manufacturer's holsters, as long as you don't have a light or laser on your gun.

The Enigma Express comes fully pre-assembled with your choice of Skeleton, City Special, or Floodlight2 holster.

Low profile. What is the Enigma? The Enigma is a high performance concealment system worn independently of your clothing. Ultra low profile and zero signature. Hugs the body, with no clips or loops showing.

You can switch the holster on your Express with another PHLster Skeleton holster. We know that this can be a bit confusing, because both the Enigma OS models can be used with any compatible holster, but the Express can only be used with our Skeleton holster.

The FBI cant is a colloquial term to refer to a concealed carry holster that has a moderate forward tilt. The word "cant" has multiple meanings, among them a slope to one side. A canted holster became associated with the FBI over the years, and has thus entered the gun/concealed carry lexicon.

The most common types are duty holsters, which are designed for daily use and are typically worn on the officer's waist. Duty holsters come in various materials, including leather, nylon, and synthetic materials.

In addition to the type and location of your holster, there are a variety of holster materials that are suitable to carry a firearm safely. For many, the number-one option is Kydex. Kydex is a line of thermoplastic acrylic-polyvinyl chloride materials manufactured by a company called Sekisui SPI.

Carrying a firearm without a holster can increase the risk of accidents, such as an unintentional discharge, and can also make it difficult to quickly access the firearm if needed. Therefore, while not required by law, it is highly advisable to use a holster when carrying a concealed firearm in the United States.

Tenicor. The Saga Lux, Malus Sol, and Certum are compatible with the LBE. When assembling these holsters, you may need to use the square screw posts that come with the Tenicor instead of the round screw posts that come with the Enigma.

The Enigma is a skeleton. You start with the basic bone structure, and then you flesh it out to suit your body shape and your individual comfort needs. You have to be willing to experiment and customize to get the level of comfort and concealment you want.

The caplock mechanism consists of a hammer and a nipple (sometimes referred to as a cone). The nipple contains a hollow conduit which goes into the rearmost part of the gun barrel, and the percussion cap is placed over the nipple hole.

ULTICLIP can be used to replace traditional holster clips that use a retention slot. This type of clip is most commonly found on leather or nylon holsters. ULTICLIP also has a single hole that allows it to replace holster clips that use a single point attachment.
