Tips

  • To use fresh herbs instead of dried, note that dried herbs are more concentrated than fresh herbs. If you’re substituting fresh herbs (to use immediately) simply triple the recipe to get the same results.
  • For a fine ranch seasoning blend (more like the traditional store bought seasoning packets), combine in a small food processor.

  • Ranch Dressing – Whisk 1 tablespoon ranch dressing with 1/3 cup olive oil mayonnaise, 1/3 cup buttermilk and whisk to combine.

  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • cup buttermilk powder
