I was recently given the opportunity to choreograph a dance piece for the 43rd Annual The EVVY Awards at Emerson College. From choosing a song that went with the theme, to casting, and choreographing, it was an incredible opportunity to have my work chosen to be featured at one of the largest events of the semester. Additionally, a show which I also had choreographed for in the fall, Emerson Urban Dance Theatre presents REM, was selected as the winner for the prize of Best Choreography.What a fantastic way to wrap up the year, congratulations to all involved and thank you to everyone who has been a part of making it all happen!

As I wrap up my time as an Emerson Urban Dance Theatre marketing chair for a total of 4 semesters, as well as an additional semester as company coordinator, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my work. In this role, I have had the opportunity to run EUDTs social media pages, including starting a brand new TikTok page. Within these past few semesters, our reach throughout the Emerson College community has significantly increased. By creating elaborate graphics and strategically planning content calendars, it has been a great insight into what it takes to be a true marketer. Each semester offered new opportunities to grow and work with new people.In addition to creating content, in this time I designed and organized merchandise orders for the whole company. It was always an exciting feeling to see my peers sporting their merchandise around campus knowing I had a large part in making it possible. I have also had the opportunity to help organize and aesthetically design several themed photoshoots. Communicating with photographers about our vision, acquiring materials, designing, and making our vision come to life. None of this is possible however without the support and knowledge I have obtained from my fellow board members over this time. And last but certainly not least, I want to give a huge shoutout to my fellow marketing co-chairs over the years. Daphne Bryant, Mailey Baer and Lucia Johnson I have learned so much from each of you and enjoyed working with you all greatly, we couldn’t have done it without each other. Now, I am onto my next chapter!
